Worldwide reception of Radio Nord Revival

It seems like this time the conditions have been in our favour. Reception reports are coming in from all over the world. Some examples: USA, Japan, New Zealand, Malaysia, Egypt, Australia and most of Europe. Really impressing! As our QSL manager is off to the USA today, all reports will be verified in mid-September when he gets back. Reception reports can be sent to:

You are very welcome to send us your reception reports and tell us how you are receiving our transmissions. Email reports are welcome to info (at) rock.x.se but please do not send large files as attachments which can clog up the mail account. Please use a file sharing service instead like http://www.sprend.com/ or http://www.rapidshare.com/ if you want to send large files. Or even better: send them on a CD to:

Radio Nord Revival shifting frequency on SW

We have received reports that 7360 kHz  has been barely audible/inaudible in many parts of Sweden but is coming through well over larger distances. At 2000 CET/SST (1800 UTC) we will shift to one of the 31 mb frequencies. Could you please monitor the frequencies 9340, 9930 and 9940 kHz and comment in this blog whether any of these channel is free from interference in your area. We will be closing down for shifting antenna at about 1945 CET/SST (1745 UTC) and we will choose the frequency which looks best. After we have started broadcasting in the 31 mb we would appreciate reports of reception in your area. Please comment in the blog. Is there any difference in signal strength compared to 7360 kHz? Obviously propagation is quite disturbed at the moment.

Radio Nord Revival QSL cards are now ready!

Our QSL cards has now arrived from the printers and it is a somewhat modified reproduction of the original QSL used by Radio Nord in 1961-62. If you would like to have one please send your reception report plus some form of return postage to:

Those of you who have already sent your reception reports can expect a QSL in your letterbox real soon. We will be back with further transmissions on May 27-29 and naturally, your reception reports will be most appreciated.

Reception reports of Radio Nord Revival on 1512 kHz

Sofar we have received reports of reception from Dalarö, Djursholm, Saltsjö Boo, Solna, Uppsala and Huddinge plus two reports from the island of Gotland. Please leave a comment in the blog how you are receiving our signal on 1512 kHz at your location and what receiver and antenna you are using.

If you want a QSL as verification of your reception please include some details of the programme you have heard when sending your reception report. It seems like some hams are forgetting this little detail.... :-)
